About Holy Quran (Koran Karim)

The holy Quran was revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (Peace be upon him) by ALLAH (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) through Archangel Gabriel. The holy book Quran (Koran Karim) contains chapters (called Quran Surah). Maki Surahs are those revealed in Makah’s Holy City, whilst Madni Surahs are those revealed in Madina’s Holy City.

The Holy Quran is Almighty Allah’s fourth and last holy scripture, delivered to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (PBUH). Until the Day of Judgment, the Holy Quran is the book of guidance for all of us. All  Muslims should practice the teachings of the beautiful Holy Quran in their day-to-day life. All  Muslims must comprehend the Holy Quran in order to absorb and apply it to their lives. Almighty Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) states about the Quran:  “This is the Book (the Quran), of which there is no doubt, guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqoon [the pious],”. (2:2) (Quran)

Quran is a source of direction.

Reading the Quran will help you in finding direction or guidance in your life. Almighty Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) promised mankind that the effect of reciting and understanding the Quran is to “take all of us from the depths of darkness to light” (Quran, 14:1) and “guide them to the ways of peace” (Quran, 14:2). (Quran, 5:16)

Quran  is an Intercessor for the Day of Judgment

On the Day of Judgment, the Holy Quran will intervene. “Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for mankind on the Day of Judgement,” our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) PBUH said in a hadith.

It is Incorruptible

It is the only religious sacred book that has been in circulation for so long and is still as pure as it was when it was first written. Since it was fully revealed 1400 years ago, the Quran has been preserved flawlessly. Nothing has been added to it, nothing has been modified in it, and nothing has been taken away from it.

It teaches about the meaning of life and the Purpose of Existence.

If anybody has ever pondered the meaning of life, all they have to do is open the Holy Quran and read from it. Many verses of the Noble Quran tell about the beginnings of human beings and this Universe, and many verses of the Noble Quran teach about how to live with a goal to serve Almighty Allah. Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) states in the Holy Quran: “He(Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) ) created death and life to test you as to which of you is the most deed-oriented.” (Quran, verse 67:2)

It Fills our hearts and cleanses them of illness.

The recital of the Quran Karim warms our hearts. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW)  PBUH said,  “A man who has no Koran inside him is like a ruined house,” (Tirmidhi). The Koran Karim cures our hearts and heals our bodies when we read it. “We sent the Quran as healing and kindness for those who believe,” Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) said in the Holy Quran. (Quran,17:82).

It cleanses and purifies our hearts.

When a Muslim recites the Koran Karim, it has an effect on the heart and cleanses it by cleaning all the impurities that have accumulated there. Almighty Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) says in the Quran, “O mankind!” There hath come to you from your Lord an admonition and a cure for the (diseases) in your hearts and souls, as well as a Guidance and Mercy for those who believe.” (Quran 10:57).

It is a Guide to Worldly Life and the Afterlife.

The Holy Quran instructs us on how to live our lives. It also explains how to achieve eternal bliss in the hereafter. You can learn all about the magnificent advantages and beauty of paradise that Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) has promised to believers by reading the Holy Quran.

It boosts faith (Iman)

Almighty Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) says in the Holy Quran, “And when a surah is revealed, some of them question, “Whose of you did this enhance Him in Iman?”. It enhanced the Iman, and they rejoice, to all the ones who believe” (9:124)

It is a means of communicating with Almighty Allah.

The Lord of the Heavens and the Earth has always been completely aware of all of our actions, whether good or harmful. It is not necessary to make an appointment with Allah ahead of time, nor is it necessary to climb high peaks and scream His name at the top of your lungs in order for your voice to be heard. Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) can hear your whispers, as well as the words you have yet to utter.
We have been lavished with untold bounties, and we owe it to Allah(Subhana Wa Ta’ala) to express our thanks for his unwavering love for us. In any scenario, whether it is our entire, working bodily parts, our parents or siblings, food or health, one must constantly express gratitude to Allah. Alhamdulillah, we Muslims regard the Quran Karim to be the most essential sacred book in Islam and for the Muslim society. The holy book Quran (Koran Karim) is a book of communal instruction.
